God Save The Queen

Another reason why Republicans suck...The United Kingdom now has legal civil unions. While not called marriage, they have all the same rights and obligations as a hetrosexual marriage. The UK is among a growing list of intelligent and refreshing countrys that believe that homosexuals deserve equality of rights given to a loving committed couple.

What amazes me is that this comes from a country that has just recently extended their normal bar hours from 11pm to 24 hours. This is striking, because the US has had longer bar hours for years. Now if only the Republicans would care about GLBT rights as they do about their alcohol, we would all be in great shape. Until then, gays will still be shunned, and we will all suffer the consequences of drunk driving and idiot presidents.
