The Day After

Well...as my brain starts clearing from the fog that is called Wills and Trusts, I am realizing that I have a nice long vacation in front of me.

I just completed the day after final ritual of cleaning my desk. YUCK! As you can imagine it was nasty. I spend most of my time sitting, eating, and sleeping here. My little sweat shop. Well it is clean now and smells like lavender.

Here is an interesting story. Minneapolis is once again thinking street cars. This city had once one of the most extensive systems in the midwest. Like many big deals involving government contracts and businesses, this system was destroyed by under handed dealings with the oil industry. All the tracks were removed, and the last street car was burned in a triumphant picture.

Well fastforward to today. The city has invested $300,000 to conduct a study to see whether to bring back the streetcars back to Minneapolis. I think it is a good idea, but I hate driving. We shall see. Why didn't we just keep the system from the get go?
